The Block is Hot...BET 2nd Hip Hop Awards is held in Atlanta...this weekend

BET Hip Hop Awards will air on BET Oct. 17th.

After getting things cleared up with his mailing address, Lil Weezy is out of jail and will be at the awards event. Lil Wayne's lawyer said that he missed his court date because the summons was sent to the address which didn't exist anymore since Hurricane Katrina..."so he never got it" according to his lawyer... He is expected back in court Oct. 31st. I guess since he calls Karrine his "homie love a friend" in Vibe, he will hook up with her at the Awards show.

Karrine Steffans pictured here with Oprah when "Video Vixen" book first was released...I wonder if she plans to go back to talk to Oprah about "The Vixen Diaries"...She's looking like: "Oh, no Oprah, I am a changed woman and I am so done with sleeping around with hip hop artists and random men"...I bet she had the audience and Oprah feeling so sorry for her, but I heard "The Vixen Diaries" was like Part 2, of the first book...sad.

Karrine 'Superhead' Steffans, mentioned to entertainment reporter, Sonia Murray in the Atlanta Journal, that she is working on another book/relationship guide called "The Vixen Manual"... She mentioned in her 2nd book that she was depressed about the break-up with HBO man, Bill Mayer. So, now she want to write a 3rd book since Bill found out that he can't make a video ___ into a house wife? girl, stop!

Free Jena 6

Mychal Bell of Jena 6 freed 2 weeks ago but he is ordered to serve 18months in a juvenile facility. Rev. Al Sharpton and others have fought so hard to seek justice for the Jena 6 and now this...CNN reports that a source with knowlege of the court proceedings said that a judged ruled he had violated his probation for earlier juvenile convictions. Hot Movie to see...

Tyler Perry's "Why did I get married?" in theaters Friday, Oct.12th...Janet Jackson and Jill Scott visited 106 & Park to talk about their parts in the movie. Go check it out when you can...also, remember to check your movie stubs so Tyler/Madea can get the credit. LOL
