Usher Raymond's father passed away over the weekend. His illness has not be reported at this time.
Usher and his wife has a baby boy also named Usher Raymond V.

It's a boy for Usher and Tameka!

Usher is a father!!
He and his wife, Tameka welcomed their bouncing baby boy, Usher Raymond V, on Monday Nov. 26th. He weighed in at a hefty 7lbs and 9ozs.

This is Usher's first child and I don't know how many this makes for Tameka? I guess put it this way, she has been through tons of pampers and a few hundreds before. LOL

Usher talks about falling in love and marrying his former stylist Tameka.

Yes, Tameka is 7yrs older than her husband, but Usher proves that "age ain't nothing but a number" and speaks about his greatest gift of all. Check out the article in the November issue of ESSENCE.

Tameka on when she knew to trust her instincts, instead of her girlfriends, about starting a relationship with her future husband: “Thank God I didn’t listen to my girlfriends…. Usher was my road dawg. I’d seen him love, and I’d watched him date women who were not worthy of him. He was so sweet, going out of his way to cater to their every need. And I’d see them not even be grateful.”

Usher on what he’s learned about becoming a father:“Tameka’s given me one of the greatest gifts I’ll ever have. With a child, now I have purpose. I understand love.”

Ok, we all see that...Love is in the air!

But on the cover of the magazine, Tamika is all up in Usher's ear/head..maybe she is thinking that he "smells like money..look like money, even talk like money". LOL

I see why Usher's mom probably thinks her son might need a little "breathing room"...LOL

Usher's album on hold & his mother's screams at wife

Usher has a baby in the oven and album on the "back burner" for now...

Usher has decided to put his album on hold to tend to his wife, Tameka and baby's needs. Not sure if this sits well with Usher's mother, Jonetta Patton who has been calling the shots since the beginning of her son's career. It has been reported in the Chicago Sun Times that Usher's mom confronted Tameka about her disapproval with his cd being on hold.

" The entertainer's mother, Jonetta Patton, supposedly had a screaming match with his wife, Tameka Foster, after learning Usher had dropped plans to release a new record because Foster insisted he take a break from his career to concentrate on her and their baby, a son who's due in December....According to a source who was present, Foster said nothing, then snapped her cell phone shut, thus ending the one-sided conversation." source: sun-times.com

If this is true, I hope the beef between the two of them simmer down before the baby arrives...the sweet baby deserves some peace and quiet. Also Usher should tell his momma in the words of Shug on the Color Purple..."I's married now." LOL

Things that make you go Hmm...

Is Usher and Tameka married legally? Well, the folks over at Media Take Out has inquired about the typo on Usher's marriage certificate...Check this..the "S" was left off on Judge Penny Brown Reynolds name...(it is on the document as Reynold) I wonder if they are legally married because of this error? What do you think?
By the way, Judge Penny Brown Reynolds husband is the pastor of a church near my house. I have got my praise on at their church before. Judge Penny Brown Reynolds can sang too. LOL

Usher announced that his wife Tameka is expecting a boy. He is so happy to have his "mini-me"...Usher Raymond V on the way. Like father like son.

Where's Usher's wife Tameka? I guess, Usher's mother Jonetta didn't want her in the picture. Can we all just get along?? Tameka interviewed with Essence talking about she get along with Usher's mom, but who knows that can be one-sided..Does Usher's mom approves her new daughter-in-law?? I guess she feels that they came too far to feed Usher to the wolves..
